This is the fourth year in a row that Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions has been awarded a 5-Star Rating from CMS, a feat that demonstrates a steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest level of excellence and value. For the 2025 plan year, Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions is 1 of only 2 Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) nationwide to receive a 5-Star Rating. 

Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions (PBD), an affiliate of Independent Health, has been selected as one of the top places of employment in the annual Best Companies to Work for in New York State awards program. PBD ranked 14th among 27 finalists in the medium-size company category (100-249 employees). This is the 5th consecutive year PBD has been selected as one of the top places of employment in NYS.

In partnership with TransparencyRx, Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions’ President, Lynne Reilly, visited Washington D.C. to speak with industry leaders, stakeholders and decision-makers about the need for PBM reform and true transparency in order to reduce prescription costs for plans and members. The discussion, facilitated by The Hill, focused on accelerating transparency with bipartisan action and evaluated what comprehensive PBM reform really looks like.

Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions is the newest member of TransparencyRx (“TrX”), which is a not-for-profit advocacy group made up of other like-minded PBMs working to promote transparency and fix the nation’s broken drug pricing system. With a goal of reducing costs and sharing savings, TRx champions sensible, meaningful, and impactful changes that will advance affordability in healthcare. PBD’s value-based approach, paired with a variety of transparent cost-savings programs, make us an excellent fit for TRx’s mission.

For a third straight year, Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions has earned a 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Star Ratings system for its Medicare Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) Prescription Drug Plan (PDP)*. For the 2024 plan year, Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions is 1 of only 2 Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) nationwide to receive a 5-Star rating. The average overall star rating for all prescription drug plans is 3.11 stars.
